How can we help? 👋

Keep Windows Server up-to-date

To keep your servers up-to-date, following Cron Job  would be sufficient.

To keep your servers up-to-date, creating a routine would be sufficient. In order to create the automation, go to Automations - Active and click on the Create button in the grey top menu. For this specific use case, you need Patch and Reboot from the toolbox. It’s under Predefined Programs. The only thing left to do is set the devices the automation should run on and optionally, if neccessary, switch the tab on top to runtime to determine when and how often the automation should run.

You can schedule it every weekend, starting Friday night. For more detailed instructions on how to do that, read in Routines.

Since some servers are not allowed to reboot, add a custom tag #NoCronJob (or a more meaningful name for you) to them and exclude those from the devices the automation can run on.
