What is SNMP
SNMP is a networking protocol used for the management and monitoring of network-connected devices in Internet Protocol networks In oder to use SNMP on XEOX you have to do the following
How to use it in XEOX
Under Port-Based NAC -> Active Network Components -> select site -> click on the switch:
Here is the SNMP Inventory and SNMP MAC
It is important that these two fields are filled out and that the switch can be reached from the Radius server:

With SNMP Inventory we get Port info, Serial Number and Type from the switch. With SNMP Mac we get the info which mac addresses is connected to which port. This means that Inventory should always be taken before SNMP Mac. Otherwise, it makes no sense.
Of course, the whole thing must also be enabled via the SNMP community string on the switch.
Regarding MAC:
If the mac address is already known and no VLAN has yet been assigned:
The VLAN (which was configured in the switch) is automatically created (if not already available) and assigned to the network car
