If you choose to subscribe to PNAC, you can receive a Radius server from HS2N. It is recommended to have at least two radius servers in a company in case one fails. Larger companies have the option to own more than two. The radius server stores a copy of the CMDB data so that inquiries can also be answered offline in case of internet downtime. A radius server can be responsible for one or multiple sites. When a new site is created, it must be added to the affected radius server by entering the server on the switch.
The heartbeat field on the radius server is crucial as it displays the last synchronization with XEOX. If the last synchronization date was too far back, it is important to check the connection.
If your Radius server stops responding, it is also possible to receive email notifications.
For this purpose add email notification doing the following:
Select Notification and click on + to create a new notification
Select your organisation and click Add to save.
