If you accidentally damage your database or make a grave mistake you can desynchronize it with the function "Stop Symmetric DS".

This allows you to restore a database from a previous point, for example from yesterday:

If the current database is repaired, you can start the synchronization again with "Start Symmetric DS". Now you can work on the current database again, as it is now synchronized with the server.
