How can we help? 👋

Active Directory

In XEOX, you can find Active Directory services under Reporting.

What is an Active Directory

Active Directory (also AD) is a directory service developed by Microsoft for Windows domain networks. It is included in most Windows Server operating systems as a set of processes and services. Initially, Active Directory was used only for centralized domain management, but now it's used for directory-based identity-related services.

In XEOX, you can find Active Directory services under Reporting.

Network Share Report

Network share report supplies a list of approved networks for servers and devices, which can be easily viewed. This is a crucial step in ensuring security, as any unapproved network presents a potential security vulnerability.

AD Export Report

AD reads out which domains are used. You can set up a job via the controller. This works via HD Synchjob. If this is set up, you can see a copy of the AD in the Report Center.

AD Group Report

Works the same way as Export Report, except that here you are able to see the groups, know which groups exist and see who the domain admins are. You can also view which administrator has set or changed the password and when.

AD Password Report

In the password report it is possible to see when which user changed the password. You are able to check whether there are old passwords and replace them with new ones, this helps to ensure security.
