XEOX is using an internal unique ID for each hardware object. This ID cannot be changed.
Host name or another unique name for the object. Can be changed.
A list of tags assigned to the hardware.
If the hardware has been assigned to a person, the last name of the person would be shown here.
If the hardware has been assigned to a person, the first name of the person would be shown here.
Serial Number of the hardware. If the hardware has an agent installed, this field will be the bios serial number. This field would be updated by the hardware inventory task.
Same as Serial Number but not updated by the hardware inventory.
Manufacturer of the hardware. It's a field from the Hardware Type table.
e.g. Model. Defined in the Hardware Type table
e.g. Server, Desktop, Notebook, ...
Location in use. Free from field.
Name of the Site where the hardware has been assigned to.
Date when the last search for missing Windows updates has been done by the agent.
Reasons for an old date:
Date when the last Update has been installed on the machine. Since Microsoft is releasing updates at least once a month, this shouldn't be older than 30 days.
Reasons for more than 30 days:
Version of the installed XEOX Agent.
Version of the Windows Update Service on the machine. Useful for troubleshooting Windows Update Service Problems (e.g. you have to install a newer version manually since the Microsoft Update process is broken with the old version)
Date when the hardware was last seen by XEOX
This field would be calculated based on the IP address of the Machine and the assigned Subnet in IP Plan. Useful to fix Site assignment issues.
IP address use by the Agent for the https communication with the XEOX cloud service.
Date when the hardware has been withdrawn (pre stage in the delete process)
Date when the hardware has been created in the cmdb.
Useful for Virtualization. e.g. you can assign a hardware where this hardware is located.
